What is our 'BIG' idea
The cheapest way to remove carbon from the atmosphere is to grow plants (e.g. trees) which absorb carbon dioxide from the air. The plants biomass (e.g. timber) is then stored in composite icebergs to prevent organic decay. The Freezing Global Warming project will "buy time" for the development of alternative energy-generating technologies to ensure the planet's long-term survival.
Key project goals:
1) Mitigate/reverse climate change
2) Reflect more sunlight back into space
3) Reduce sea level rise
4) Mitigate/reverse habitat loss from Antarctica
5) Reduces potential impact of excessive production on timber market
Summary:
By harnessing nature, the Freezing Global Warming project offers both the simplest and cheapest solution to Global Warming.
No radical new technology needs to be invented, implement a simple idea at global scale.
